Hi everyone!
I’m back again with a new Top Ten Tuesday! ! TTT has actually moved from The Broke and the Bookish now and is actually over at That Artsy Reader Girl so go and check out everyone’s posts over there!
This week’s TTT is all about the best books we’ve read so far in 2018 – let me tell you there is a LOT! I’ve read 89 books so far this year, so let’s try and choose 10 of my favourites!
Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor
I absolutely adored this trilogy and I honestly am so angry at myself for not reading it earlier! I powered through it at the start of the year and fell in love with Laini! My reviews are here: Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor // Review, Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor // Review, Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor // Review.
This book is genuinely of the most beautiful books I’ve read. I always say its like The Martian for YA, and the writing was just absolutely wonderful. My review is here – Satellite by Nick Lake // Review.
Cauldron’s Bubble by Amber Elby
The lovely Amber asked me to review this and as I adore Shakespeare I loved it! It was just so well written, and a brilliant educational book for kids who want to get into the Bard! My review is here: Cauldron’s Bubble by Amber Elby // Review.
Silence is Goldfish by Annabel Pitcher
I adore Annabel Pitcher, but this is probably one of, if not my complete, favourite of hers! It was so beautiful and honestly I read it in like 1 day because I was in love. My review is here: Silence is Goldfish by Annabel Pitcher // Review.
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
I honestly don’t have the words to recommend this book, it is the debut that everyone should be wanting to read! I bought 2 copies the day it came out because I was SO in love! To read more coherent thoughts go here: BLOG TOUR: Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi // Review.
Sunflowers in February by Phyllida Shrimpton
This was probably the biggest surprise of the year, and the messages that were left within this book were just wonderful. I honestly really loved this, and I cried at work because it was so good! My review is here: Sunflowers in February by Phyllida Shrimpton // Review.
The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur
Mariam bought me this book, and I honestly can’t thank her enough! This is just AMAZING! I tabbed all of my favourite poems, and honestly there was probably about 3 poems I didn’t tab, I loved them all! My review will be up soon!
Why did it take me this long to read it???? This is now my FAVOURITE Victoria Schwab book, and I am now very in love with Victor Vale and VERY ready for Vengeful! My review will be live soon!
Matt Haig could write anything and I would completely fall in love with it. This book is the first book I’ve read that is fiction from Matt, and it really was just as good as I thought it would be! My review will be up live!
Warlock Holmes: My Grave Ritual by G. S. Denning
I am SO happy I managed to read this, I love this series so much and G. S. Denning is one of the best authors ever. This is definitely my favourite book of the series, so thank you for letting me read this AMAZING book! My review will be up soon!
There we go! That was so hard to narrow down, but I think I did it okay! Leave a comment below with what you thought of my answers, and link to your own TTT posts!
Until next time,
Keep Reading!

I love that you have so many unique titles on this list. I sometimes feel like my lists look like carbon copies of other people’s and it’s usually because the books really are that good, but I love when I see a list that inspires new reads!! If you’d like to check out my TWO lists this week feel free: http://nerdnarrationblog.wordpress.com/2018/07/10/top-ten-tuesday-best-reads-of-2018-so-far-tbr/

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is one of my favorites. I still need to read the finale, but I don’t want it to end… 🙂
