Hi everyone!

I love true crime so much and it makes everything so much creepier when I know that the story is based on true events! I thought I’d gather some of my favourite true stories together so I can share it for my other true crime fans!

The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson

Everyone has probably heard of The Amityville Horror – whether it’s the original film, the remake or just the mystery surrounding it – but here it is in all it’s glory! The accounts of the original Amityville haunting – be sure not to read it alone at night!

I adore thriller, I love being in suspense and creeped out by a good book, so thought I’d share some of my favourite thriller authors with you! Here we go!

Sarah Pinborough

Have I talked about Sarah enough?? I LOVE HER AND HER WRITING OKAY. Behind Her Eyes is definitely one of – if not THE – best thriller I have ever read and I am still not okay after it. If you want a brilliant YA and thriller author – this is the one you need in your life!

February 2018 Wrap Up!

Hi everyone!

February is over, and I definitely had a great reading month! The start of the month was a lot more successful than the end, and I’m not entirely sure why to be honest! However all in all I read 11 books this month, which when you look at my haul this month, apart from ARC’s I actually read more than I bought! PROGRESS! Let’s get into it:

ARC Reads:

Title: Cauldrons Bubble by Amber Elby

Rating: ★★★★★

ReviewI absolutely adored this book. I love Shakespeare and have since I was little so when Amber asked me to read this, which is a Shakespeare retelling I was SOLD. The book overall is absolutely wonderful, and I didn’t want it to end at all! Luckily enough there’s more books in the series so I’m happy now, but I need the next book! My review is here:

#Thriller-A-Thon and #TimeHop-A-Thon Wrap Up!

Hi everyone!

If you didn’t know, I recently took part in the Thriller-A-Thon – a readathon that is focused on getting through some of your most anticipated thrillers, and the TimeHop-A-Thon! If you missed my TBR on these, then you can check them out here (Thriller-A-Thon TBR! & TimeHop-A-Thon TBR!) to compare what I wanted to read, to what I actually read!

I wish I’d have been able to read more, but I guess  that’s what you get for trying to balance out two readathons during the same time haha! I am still happy with what I read, and I’ll go through in more detail my thoughts on each book in my February wrap up which will be live soon!divider-2461548_1280

Thriller-A-Thon Wrap Up!

I fully intended to read the full five books for this readathon, and was SO excited! However unfortunately university got in the way, so I managed to read 2 full books, and was only 100 pages off of finishing my 3rd book! How annoying! I read:

Thriller-A-Thon TBR!

Hi everyone!

This is a very last minute post as this readathon actually starts in around 4 hours! However yesterday I decided I really wanted to join some readathons, and found that the Thriller-A-Thon was happening, and I couldn’t resist!

I love a good thriller so this is the perfect excuse to read as many as I can! There are five challenges associated with this readathon, so here is my TBR!divider-2461548_1280

Challenge 1: Read the thriller you’re most anticipating

For this I’m reading The Fireman by Joe Hill! I’ve read most of his books, apart from this one so now is the perfect time to read it!

Challenge 2: Read the thriller that’s been on your TBR the longest

I can’t even remember when I bought this, but I know it’s been sat on my shelf staring at me for what seems like FOREVER! I’m excited though because I’ve heard great things about it!

Challenge 3: Read the thriller you most recently added to your TBR

I literally got this book this morning and I’ve been wanting it for ages, so thought it was definitely the perfect excuse to buy it! I’ve seen a lot of TBR’s for this readathon include this book so I can’t wait to read it!

Challenge 4: Read the thriller with the best cover

I absolutely love this cover because all I know about Psycho is the shower scene (I’m sure you know what I’m talking about!), and this looks like the bloodstained hand on the shower door so it just seems to fit so well! Also it’s extremely intriguing!

Challenge 5: Revisit a thriller book or author

I read The Girl with All the Gifts a while ago and really loved how captivating it was, so when I got approved for this prequel on NetGalley I was so excited! Then I thought that this was perfect to read for this, and now I’m very excited and hoping it’s just as good as the first book was!

divider-2461548_1280There we go, my TBR for the Thriller-A-Thon! I can’t wait to read all these books, and I’m hoping that they are as good as I hope! The Thriller-A-Thon runs from the 17th February until the 24th February, so make sure to join in, and check for updates on the Twitter account here!

What are your TBR’s? Link them below I’d love to see them!

Until next time,
