For today’s post I wanted to share some books I’m super excited to read – specifically books by the King of Horror himself! I absolutely love Stephen King and his books, and I finally have a finished collection of all his books so it’s about time I started reading more of them!
Here are five that I’m particularly excited about – let me know if there’s any I need to get to!
This just sounds so fascinating, the idea of an institute itself is so creepy even without knowing much of the story but I know it’s his latest book and I can’t wait!
Synopsis: Amy Lennox doesn’t know quite what to expect when she and her mother pick up and leave Germany for Scotland, heading to her mother’s childhood home of Lennox House on the island of Stormsay. Amy’s grandmother, Lady Mairead, insists that Amy must read while she resides at Lennox House – but not in the usual way. It turns out that Amy is a book jumper, able to leap into a story and interact with the world inside. As exciting as Amy’s new power is, it also brings danger – someone is stealing from the books she visits, and that person may be after her life. Teaming up with fellow book jumper Will, Amy vows to get to the bottom of the thefts – at whatever cost.
A beautifuly story about books, families and magical realism that you will fall in love with.
Synopsis: Betrothed to the evil ruler of her kingdom, Nyx has always known that her fate was to marry him, kill him, and free her people from his tyranny. But on her seventeenth birthday when she moves into his castle high on the kingdom’s mountaintop, nothing is what she expected—particularly her charming and beguiling new husband. Nyx knows she must save her homeland at all costs, yet she can’t resist the pull of her sworn enemy—who’s gotten in her way by stealing her heart.
A completely captivating, and unique retelling of one of the most well loved fairytales, this is the breath of fresh air that the story needed.
Synopsis: Malorie raises the children the only way she can: indoors, with the doors locked, the curtains closed, and mattresses nailed over the windows. The children sleep in the bedroom across the hall, but soon she will have to wake them and blindfold them. Today they will risk everything. Today they will leave the house.
The bestseller that took over everyone’s screens when the Netflix adaptation was released – but is it worth reading the book?
I’m back for day 9 with a (belated) TBR for October! This is actually one of MANY readathons I’m doing this month, because it’s the BEST month ever – SPOOKY MONTH. However when I saw that there was a Supernatural themed readathon OF COURSE I had to do it!
I mean I literally have a tattoo dedicated to the show so???? Anyway this readathon is being hosted by Steph from over at Steph Loves and I am so excited to do it!!!! Here are the prompts for the readathon:
It’s day 8 of Blogtober and I’m back with a tag that I’ve done before but after finding it on Writing the Universe I realised that I wanted to see if any of my answers had changed! So here I am with doing it again!!

The third installment of the White Rabbit Chronicles really turns up the drama, and it is impossible to put down.
I’m back with yet another tag – and this time one that I’ve been putting off for a while just because I’ve honestly been terrified of people taking my thoughts the wrong way! Just a little disclaimer that my opinions are just that – an opinion and I don’t mean to offend anyone at all!
