When you’re trapped in one place at the end of the world, what will you do to survive?

This book was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I could easily put myself in the situation of finding out that the apocalypse was happening all around you, and being unable to stop it or even be with your friends and family. The isolated setting was so creepy and added such an eerie feeling to the story.

I enjoyed how the chapters were the number of days after the apocalypse so it allowed us to understand how much time had passed during the events that happened in this book. The mystery of who the body was, and how she connected to the entire story was a great addition as it created an air of confusion and made me want to read further through just so if anything I could find out who the victim was.

The entire story just made me feel on the edge of my seat and so uneasy that I both couldn’t stop reading and also needed to put it down so I could sleep. The ending was so good and I loved how it just felt like real life. It was such an open ending and it left me just wanting more in the best way!
