Books Released So Far in 2019 I Want to Read!

Hi everyone!

I’m back with a post featuring some 2019 book releases that are already out, but that I want to eventually get around to reading! I am so excited for all of these!

I’ve been using my library a lot more recently as I can’t really justify buying books at the moment, so hopefully they get some of these in so I can read them! I’m loving using the library and they are getting some new books in quite frequently so I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

Until then I will share my excitement with you guys, and feel free to let me know down below what releases you’re excited for!divider-2461548_1280

With The Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo

First off this cover is GORGEOUS. Also this sounds so unique and so brilliant. I’ve read nothing but amazing reviews about it, and it has really made me super hyped for it! I love a good contemporary and one about a single mum following her dreams as a chef? It just sounds so wholesome and I can’t wait!

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

I have recently fallen in LOVE with Christina Lauren, and have been on a complete binge of all their books, so naturally I am so excited for this book! I’ve also started to really love romance books and at this point I would read anything by them and I am SO excited to devour another of their books!

EDIT: Since writing this post, my beautiful Mariam bought it and has let me borrow the eBook of it – SHE IS AN ANGEL AND I LOVE HER!!! I’m starting this asap!

Red, White & Royal Blue: A Novel by [McQuiston, Casey]

Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston

As I mentioned I am absolutely obsessed with romance novels at the moment, and honestly this is the most talked about book I can think of at the moment. Everyone seems to love it, and has fallen in love with the characters and I can’t wait. It sounds like an amazing LGBTQ+ book, and why my library hasn’t got it in yet is BEYOND me. It’s the top of my wishlist and I can’t wait!

Wilder Girls by [Power, Rory]

Wilder Girls by Rory Power

I was so jealous of those who won early copies of this book, because everyone who’s read it has absolutely loved it. It sounds so up my alley, and I am super excited to one day get a copy because boy am I down for a good ol’ mystery.

The Right Swipe: swipe right on the perfect summer read of 2019 (Modern Love) by [Rai, Alisha]

The Right Swipe by Alisha Rai

Whitney from Whittynovels said she loved this, and it was due to her recommendation that I ended up reading Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and I LOVED it, so now I completely trust her opinion! This sounds like such a modern day romance, and as I said I am loving them at the moment so I am excited for this!

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan

Okay YES. I know this book came out in 2018 BUT BUT BUT it came out late 2018 so I’m counting it. I’M LIVING ON THE EDGE HERE GUYS! I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this book, and the sequel that’s coming out soon, so I am DESPERATE to read it! If Scribd or my library could get some copies I would be VERY appreciative because DAMN THIS SOUNDS GOOD.

Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

Kayla from BooksandLala speaks SO highly of Seanan’s books, and I’ve read a couple of her books as her pen name Mira Grant and I loved them. This book sounds so mysterious, and everyone who’s read it seems to love it so I’m super excited!

Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye

I really enjoyed Evelyn’s previous series, The Crown’s Game – her magic system is actually my favourite I’ve ever read. So when I saw this was coming out I knew I had to read it! Fingers crossed this is another one they get into my library!

Again, but Better by Christine Riccio

I was very unsure about this book, however my best friend Mariam recently read it and spoke extremely highly of it and has kindly let me borrow the book from her iBooks – so you know I’m going to read it asap!!! I’m excited to see a book from a college/university POV for once, I’m excited!

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

I absolutely adore Riley Sager and his books – they’re so interesting and keep me on the edge of my seat so much! This sounds so amazing, and I’m SO happy that my local library has it in stock – I’m going to pick it up this week so you know it’s the top of my TBR!divider-2461548_1280

There we go, there’s some of my highly anticipated 2019 reads that are already released! I have SO many more for the rest of the year, but that will be a post for another day!

Are there any new releases I’ve missed? What do you think of my list? Let me know below!

Until next time,
