Welcome back to the Wunderous world of Nevermoor. If you thought the first book was good, get ready for the journey of a lifetime.

I absolutely adore this series so much. It is so fun, whimsical and just a complete feel good story. After the events of he first novel, this follows on perfectly, leaving no questions about what happened in the gap between the books.

The world is once again truly outstanding. Jessica creates such boisterous characters, and such fantastic descriptions, you feel as if you’re right there with them. The development of Morrigan and her relationships with her new family in Nevermoor was particularly brilliant.

Not only did it add a realistic element, but also captivated me into not wanting to put the book down as I was desperate to see how the relationships would develop.

I really loved how the Wundersmith was integrated into the story and thought it was so good how Jupiter never stopped believing in her. All the character played such important parts in the book, it was done wonderfully.

This is truly one of my favourite books, and favourite series I’ve ever read. It deals with topics such as bullying and being an outsider and resolves situations in beautifully done ways. I completely devoured the story in less than 24 hours.

Jessica truly is a Wundersmith with words as she creates fantastic stories for all ages. I can’t recommend enough!
