Monthly TBR

November TBR – Reading the Oldest Books on my TBR!

Hi everyone!

November is upon us and spooky month has ended *cries forever*. I absolutely loved October and had SO much fun for Blogtober (you can find all of my posts using the Blogtober 2018 header on my blog!), thank you for joining me!

A new month means one thing – a new TBR! This month I wanted to do something different, and I saw this ages on Lala’s channel, BooksandLala, and thought it was something I wanted to do!

I have a huge problem of buying books and then taking 9000 years to read them. This means that I have a HUGE backlog of books, and I saw that Lala went back and found her old videos and challenged herself to read those books, so thought I’d do the same!

I went back to my old book blog notebook from when I started my first haul in August, and found all of my hauls from 2016, and noticed that between August 2016- December 2016 I had 17 books I hadn’t read yet. HELP.

I decided to choose 10 of them, and assigned each one a number and then got Ben to choose ten numbers from 1-17 to choose my TBR!divider-2461548_1280

Blame by Simon Mayo

I remember buying this, and being so excited to read it. I now know nothing about it so need to remind myself! I think it’s about time to take it off my TBR!

Fellside by M. R. Carey

I loved The Girl with All The Gifts, but really didn’t like The Boy on the Bridge so I’m very apprehensive about this one!

The Graces by Laura Eve

I’ve heard good things about this, and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to read it.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Yes I know I should have gotten to this already, but I’m late okay!! I’m so happy that Ben chose this, it’s about time!

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I can’t believe he also chose this one too! I finally get to read this duology!

Riverkeep by Martin Stewart

Isn’t this absolutely gorgeous! I know I bought this primarily because of the cover so I’m hoping that it will be good.

The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell

This again is so beautiful, and I’m really excited to finally get to it after staring at it on my TBR for so long.

Dead Mans Blues by Ray Celestin

I adored The Axeman’s Jazz, and I’m SO excited that he chose this, and I can dive into Ray’s writing once again!

Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare

Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch

I can’t believe I never carried on this series after loving the first books so much!divider-2461548_1280

I hope you enjoyed this post, I thought I’d do something new and hopefully I can stick to the TBR!

Have you read any of these? Which should I get to first? Leave a comment below!

Until next time,
