What an ending. This is a series finisher you won’t want to miss. One that will grip you from the very first page, and won’t let go until you’ve devoured every word of it.

I didn’t want to finish this series, but if I was going to – this is exactly how I’d want it to end. One thing this series is brilliant at, is creating so many different stories with various other characters, but bringing them all together in such genius ways. This book is the prime example of that!

Katharine has developed the characters so much over the previous two books, and how their stories finally end and fit together is so clearly thought out. I am truly in awe of her world building, and her talent at doing such a seemingly difficult task.

There were so many twists and turns, as is common with the series, but this one honestly left me speechless. I couldn’t put the book down, because everytime I thought I’d got the story sussed out, another twist would happen and I’d be back being just as desperate to read the next chapter.

I loved the progression of Avery’s story in particular. She’s always been such a strong character, and in my eyes, one of my favourites. Her story is so heartbreaking, and also so empowering, I live for her and Leda’s relationship. The ending to each story broke my heart, and mended it again in so many ways.

After finishing this book, I just hugged it because I’m so grateful I got to read such an awe-inspiring series, and I honestly couldn’t have thought of a better way to finish. So many tough topics, done in such beautiful ways.

If you haven’t read this series, I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t heard of this series – please go pick up the first book now because I promise you you won’t regret it!
