(Another Very Late) July 2018 Wrap Up!

Hi everyone!

YES THIS IS LATE AGAIN I’M SO SORRY! I was meant to post this yesterday but I was having a really bad mental health day so didn’t have the motivation to write it – but it’s finally here! I read 12 books back in July and loved pretty much most of them too!

Let’s check out what I read!

ARC Reads:

Title: All Right Reserved by Gregory Scott Kasoulis

Rating: ★★★★

ReviewThis book was super interesting, and I thought that it really took a unique idea and did it justice. I read this for a blog tour – which you can find here: BLOG TOUR: All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis // Review

Title: The Usurper King by Zeb Haradon

Rating: ★★★.5

ReviewI’m a huge fan of true crime, so this book sounded super up my street when Zeb contacted me, and it was definitely something new! I liked the twist of history and the writing style was interesting. Full review up soon!

Title: The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Rating: DNF

ReviewI’m SO sad I wasn’t able to get into this book. I really wanted to after hearing great things about it, but it just really wasn’t for me at all.

Title: That’s Not What Happened by Kody Keplinger

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Oh I adored this book. It was so eye opening, and such an emotional and honest book. I really loved the writing and I honestly can’t recommend it enough – definitely my favourite read of the month!

itle: How To Survive the End of the World by Aaron Gillies

Rating: ★★★★

Review: I love a good self help book, and I loved how this one was not only helpful but also light hearted. It helped to understand it and get the words to sink in.

Title: It Ends With You by S. K. Wright

Rating: ★★★.5

Review: Although a little predictable at times, I was a strong fan of the mixed POV’s throughout this book, and thought the writing really did the story justice overall.divider-2461548_1280

Other Reads:

Title: Artemis by Andy Weir

Rating: ★★★★

Review: I loved The Martian and knew that Andy’s next book would be brilliant too and I wasn’t wrong. Although I did prefer The Martian, this was so brilliant and I’m still completely in love with every character! Full review up soon!

Title: Allegedly by Tiffany D. Jackson

Rating: ★★★.5

Review: Such a heart-breaking story that ended up being so intruiging and not as clear cut as first imagined! I thought it was definitely one to look out for, but maybe not one able to re-read! Full review will be up soon!

Title: The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye

Rating: ★★★★.5

Review: I’m still blown away by how much I loved this book. I originally picked it up because it was super hyped and never got round to reading it (shock horror), but it really does deserve the hype it gets!

Title: The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Oh this book is amazing. I cried, I laughed and I want to scream about it from every rooftop because it truly is perfection in a book! My review will be live soon!

itle: The Green Mile by Stephen King

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: I cry forever. and ever. and ever. and ever. 15/10 stars.

Thank you for making it down this far! I’m so happy with how my reading went in July, and let me tell you August is a HUGE reading month for me, so make sure to look out for that wrap up that will go live very soon!
