A magical fantasy novel fit for a king – this is one series you won’t want to miss.

I honestly never thought I’d ever read this. Fantasy books, especially high fantasy ones are never normally my kind of thing, but this definitely takes the cake for me. The world building is truly outstanding.

I felt like I was in the world with every single character and I could follow them all and their journey’s perfectly. Magnus is absolutely brilliant and I adored the split POV across the kingdoms.

The writing worked so well and it reminded me so much of A Song of Ice and Fire, in the best possible way. I also loved how the effects of one kingdom had repercussion for the others, they linked together brilliantly.

I am so very excited to see where the story goes in the rest of the series and keep up to date with all the characters.

Morgan has such a dynamic and thought provoking way with words and you can’t help but be completely captivated.
