I’m back again with a new Top Ten Tuesday! ! TTT has actually moved from The Broke and the Bookish now and is actually over at That Artsy Reader Girl so go and check out everyone’s posts over there!
This week’s TTT was about books and series you’ll never finish, and I genuinely didn’t know there was so many! I am also VERY sorry that this is so late, this week has been crazy with some exciting things (to be announced soon!), so all my weekly posts have been pushed forward – I’m so sorry! Let’s get to it!
I really enjoyed Red Rising when I read it a couple of years ago, I thought it was super interesting. However I’ve had SO many chances to pick up the next books in the series, and it just never took my fancy so I don’t think I’ll carry it on!
I can’t explain how disappointed I was that I didn’t like this book, and I wish so much that I liked this but I didn’t. I couldn’t get on with the story overall, and I wish could continue with the series as I love Laini and the books are BEAUTIFUL but it’s just not for me.
Joanna M. Harris is such a brilliant author, I was devastated I didn’t really like Runemarks.
MARIAM I AM SO SORRY. I have SO many books to read, and I know I adored the Vampire Academy books, and I would love these too I bet – but I just can’t justify collecting them at the moment. However I might carry on with the series one day!
I had to DNF this book because it was definitely not what I was expecting. I can’t even explain the reason why I didn’t like it – it just really wasn’t for me.
I adored Simon vs, but I honestly have no interest at all in reading Leah on the Offbeat. I’ve heard very mixed reviews regarding it, and I’m not sure I want to ruin how much I loved Simon Vs!
I never actually got around to reading this, but once I got home from the event I picked it up at I realised it wasn’t really my type of book and thought I’d just leave it instead of trying to push myself through it!
Technically I did continue with this series, as I did read The Boy on the Bridge but I kind of gave up halfway through it because I got super bored which was a shame as I loved TGWATG.
I really loved this book, and I can’t wait to watch the film on Netflix! However I have SO many books to read that this series really isn’t high on my TBR – and also I can’t get the covers to match with the copy I have so need to sort that before I buy them!
I really didn’t get along with this book when I read it which was a shame. I liked it at the start, but I thought it would be a bit more exciting by the end. I didn’t know there would be more books, but I’m not really interested in them.
This took a while to think of, but once I started I was away! What do you think of my answers? What are your answers?
Comment or leave a link to your TTT below so I can check it out!
Until next time,
