Title: Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi
Rating: ★★★
Release: 13th December 2013
Synopsis: As Omega Point prepares to launch an all-out assault on The Reestablishment soldiers stationed in Sector 45, Adam’s focus couldn’t be further from the upcoming battle. He’s reeling from his breakup with Juliette, scared for his best friend’s life, and as concerned as ever for his brother James’s safety. And just as Adam begins to wonder if this life is really for him, the alarms sound. It’s time for war. On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam’s newly discovered half brother, won’t be that easy. The Reestablishment can’t tolerate a rebellion, and they’ll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about.Review:
A dark in depth look at the man behind the bird tattoo – Adam Kent.
Now I used to adore Adam before Unite Me…but then he got a bit out of sorts let’s say…
I loved how we got such an in depth backstory on Adam, just like Destroy Me gave us for Warner, and I think it added something so brilliantly subtle to the story that definitely wouldn’t have worked without this novella.
It was once again brilliantly written, and really allowed me to get into the mindset of Adam, and decided once and for all which team I was on – Warner or Adam!
It was something that is so unbelievably vital to the series, but I felt it was lacking a little something compared to how brilliant Destroy Me was.
If you can’t wait to begin to probably hate Adam, then this is definitely the book for you!
