This novella is the perfect way to tide yourself over in the wait for Book 2! Ever wanted to know Morrigan’s back story? Wait no more!
Morrigan was one of my favourite characters in dissent:RENEGADES as soon as I read about her, so it was brilliant being able to get some more backstory about her! It was written perfectly, and I couldn’t read it quick enough.
It was so amazing that I could see just how much R. J. has developed since book 1, in such a short space of time! His writing style is absolutely wonderful, and I was completely invested in the book which can be hard to do with such a short novella.
I was so hooked I read it in one sitting because I was curious as to what would happen next. I loved how we not only got to understand more of Morrigan, but also meet her parents and see how their influence affected her.
This book was just what every Dissentian needs in their life. It was emotional, beautiful and provided such a wonderful backstory. I can’t wait for book two!
