ARC Reads:

itle: One Quiet Woman by Anna Jacobs

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: I read this as part of a book tour, and I absolutely loved it. I was unsure as to what my thoughts would be after first reading the synopsis as it’s not normally a genre I’m used to. However I absolutely adored every single thing about it! The story was so brilliant, with so many exciting elements to it! You can read my full review here!

Title: The Cost of Living by Rachel Ward

Rating: ★★★★.5

Review: Another read for a book tour, and once again a book I loved! This was such a fun thriller, and the characters were developed so brilliantly. I loved the way the story went, it was such a brilliant mixture of fun, action and excitement. You can read my full review here!

Title: Ronaldo: The Reindeer Flying Academy by Maxine Sylvester

Rating: ★★★★.5

Review: A fun Christmas book to read to your little ones during the festive period, this is definitely one to warm the hearts of all ages! You can read my full review here!

Other Books:

 Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Okay so yes I know I’m late to the party, and I have to thank Mariam for getting me to join the party but I am SO glad I did! I loved this book so much, and I am literally desperate to read the rest of the series now! My review will be up for this next month!

Title: The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: I picked this up because it was the monthly read for September for the book group I’m a part of, and it’s become one of my favourite books! The characters, the plot and just the writing style were all so perfect, I’m so in love with it! My full review can be found here!

Title: Nemesis by Brendan Reichs

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: I’d heard such good things about this book, and then I saw it was out in the UK so had to pick it up. I don’t know why it took me so long to get to it, because it was brlliant. The pacing of the story, and the twists and the turns throughout left me in awe. My full review can be found here!

Title: The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee

Rating: ★★★★.5

Review: Another great read, and definitely one that lived up to the hype surrounding it when it was first released! I loved it right from the mystery of the first page! Super exciting read, and I can’t wait to get into the second book that was recently released! My review will be up soon!

Title: Gwendy’s Button Box by Stephen King & Richard Cizmar

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Naturally as soon as I see the words “Stephen King” on the front of any book, I HAVE to read it. I’m pretty sure it has to be a law somewhere…I finally picked this up in my library and read it in one day because it was so good! Richard and Stephen work so well together, and the story is so creepy – I loved everything about it!

Title: The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick

Rating: ★★★.5

Review: I actually watched the film for this a couple years ago, so I was super excited to get to read the book finally! I liked it, but actually for once, much preferred the film! I did however like the mental health rep, and how real it felt!

Title: Runemarks by Joanne M. Harris

Rating: ★

Review: I absolutely loved The Gospel of Loki, however this book really didn’t fit as well! I found myself wanting to skip through most of it, and didn’t enjoy it. It made me sad because I had many high hopes but I guess that’s how life goes sometimes!

Title: Misery by Stephen King

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Is it really a wrap up if I don’t mention at least 2 Stephen King books? I’ve been wanting to read this King classic for so long, and I am thrilled I finally have! I loved it, and if I ever become a author I will constantly be on the look out for Annie.

Title: Hate List by Jennifer Brown

Rating: ★★★★★

Review: Hands down one of the best books I have ever read, and I still can’t understand why more people aren’t talking about it! It was so beautifully written, and so emotional, I can’t recommend this book enough! My full review will be up soon so don’t miss it!

Title: S.T.A.G.S by M. A. Bennett

Rating: ★★★.5

Review: I really liked this, and it also has one of THE BEST opening lines in the world! I liked the characters, and the unique storyline. Although a little slow in parts, it was definitely packing a punch by the end! My review will be up soon!

Finally I’m finished! I’m SO sorry I’m so late again, I do try I promise! My October Wrap Up should be up soon – hopefully! So don’t miss out on it, keep checking the blog!

Until next time,
