Review:

An action packed book with an interesting premise, one that will leave you questioning who you can trust, and whether what you see is actually real.

Dylan did an amazing job with this book, and one of the best parts was the characters he created throughout the novel. The relationship between Liam and Carl was written so well, that you feel completely immersed in the narrative, as if you’re going through the story with them.

The action begins so suddenly that you’re left reeling for many pages after, almost like the characters are! Quickly the book picks up speed, and answers the burning questions that were given at the start of the book such as ‘Who are the Untruthers?’ and ‘Why are they being hunted?’. However as soon as one question is answered, another rises, in a perfect way that there is no chance of you getting even slightly bored.

The chapters were so unique, I loved the chapters written in code, and the titles written in code were so clever, the book truly felt so authentic in the cyber world it was set in, it was brilliant. I also loved the idea of the world being made up of certain entities and how they communicate. It was especially good how the author allowed us into their minds to see the reasoning behind what they do, and allowed us to get a full perspective of just how big the story is.

My favourite part of the book is how the information gets released slowly bit by bit, so you can’t stop reading until you find out everything that happens. It keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire novel, teasing you with bits of information here and there to piece together.

The ending of the book was particularly genius. I have never read a book that ended like it, but I so wish I had because this was amazing. I loved how it ended, and how it was so well finished. It was so well thought out, I was in awe of it well after I finished the story.

This book is definitely one for the Sci-Fi fans, and if you’re looking for something to stay up late reading with an ending to shock you, this is the book you need!
